GENERAL HOTEL POLICIES

  1. When making a reservation at the Hotel Florence, regardless of the channels (internet or telephone), the customer accepts and agrees with these General Policies that establish the terms of the Hotel's service provision from booking to accommodation, as well as defining the reciprocal rules.
  2. As determined by Federal Law No. 8.069, of 13/07/1990, the accommodation of minors under eighteen years of age will not be allowed, unless accompanied by their parents or legal guardian. If the minor is accompanied only by his/her legal guardian, he/she will be required to present, at the time of check in, a written authorization document for the minor's accommodation, signed by the parents, with notarized signatures, reason for the minor's accommodation and telephone numbers of parents for contact. Regardless of any other provision, all minors under the age of eighteen must present, at check-in, a photo document that proves their identity and parentage, even if accompanied by their parents.
  3. Hotel Florence offers free accommodation for one child, under the age of twelve, accompanied by their parents in the same apartment.
  4. Reservations without a No Show guarantee can be canceled by Hotel Florence at any time, without prior notice to the customer.
  5. In the case of reservations with “refundable” rates, the customer may cancel up to twenty-four hours before the check-in date, and there will be no charge. Otherwise, one hundred percent of the first night will be charged.
  6. For reservations with “non-refundable” rates, if the customer wishes to cancel the reservation, he will pay the equivalent of one hundred percent of the accommodation, regardless of the deadline for requesting the cancellation.
  7. Breakfast is complimentary when served in the restaurant. Monday to Saturday from 6am to 10am and on Sundays and holidays from 7am to 11am.
  8. Hotel Florence has a partnership with a valet company for parking management. Will be charged directly by this company the amount referring to the vacancy, at check-in.
  9. We charge three percent ISS (service tax).
  10. Daily rates start at 2pm and end at 12pm.
  11. Early check in subject to availability. We charge the equivalent of a daily rate if the entrance is before 9am. After this time, the amount charged will be the equivalent of half a day.
  12. Late check out subject to availability. We charge half a day for reservations extended until 6pm. After this time, the amount charged will be the equivalent of one hundred percent of the daily rate.
  13. Free broadband internet.
  14. We are committed to providing our guests with an odor-free environment, which is why smoking is expressly prohibited on the hotel's internal premises (Federal Law No. 12,546/2011). If the use of any kind of cigarette is detected in the apartment, a cleaning fee corresponding to a current daily rate will be charged. This amount will be used to carry out an intense cleaning, which will result in the blocking of this apartment for at least 01 day.
  15. As of February 6, 2017, the hotel will be undergoing improvements, causing noise during weekdays during business hours.
  16. We do not accept animals of any size in our hotel.
  17. It is allowed to circulate without a shirt or swimsuit, only in the hotel's leisure area. If you circulate in this way in the hotel's social areas, such as the restaurant, reception, etc., a fee of R$100.00 will be charged.
  18. According to the visitors policy of the Hotel Florence, for security reasons, visitors are not allowed to enter the apartments. These visits can be received in the hotel's social area – Lobby and Restaurant. If the visitor has to go up to the apartment, the additional person will be charged and will be posted to the guest's account.
  19. Due to the requirements of Ordinance 177 of September 13, 2011 of the MTur, filling out the FNRH is mandatory for all guests.
  20. We do not accept checks.
  21. The guest accepts and agrees to use the apartment within good standards and customs. Any behavior contrary to good customs and public order will cause the Hotel employees to ask the guest to leave the establishment without the right to any compensation or refund.
  22. For the physical security of guests, Hotel Florence has an internal TV circuit, monitoring the corridors, reception, restaurant and other public environments.
  23. Our corridors and apartments are equipped with smoke detector equipment that must not be removed or disabled, any attempt to inhibit their operation will trigger a fire alarm and, if damage is found to the device, a fine will be charged.
  24. According to the establishment's internal policy, it is mandatory to present a guarantee of 20% of the accommodation value by credit card (pre-authorization) or cash. If there is no extra consumption, the amount is refunded to the customer.
